JOB TITLE: SEED SALES MANAGER
ABOUT EMPLOYER and AREA:
Our client is an established Ag Retailer and one of the nation's largest networks of independently-owned and managed Seed companies. Our client provides their Ag customers with Seed products, technologies, seed treatments and crop management tools that surpass industry-required standards and include leading edge genetics. Seed products are specifically matched to the Ag customers geographical area. Agronomists within the company share their deep knowledge of Agronomy and the Seed Business year-round and are customer-focused helping to make a difference in their local economies by boosting local farmers' profitability. This area of Nebraska offers excellent schools, community spirit and a rural Ag environment. They are located within a 1/2 hour commute of two larger communities offering major shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2- or 4-year Ag-related or Business degree preferred
- Solid knowledge / understanding of Agronomy and cropping systems located in Central Nebraska
- Sales Professional with proven experience selling Seed or other crop inputs to Central Nebraska Ag growers
- Excellent Communicator, Negotiator, and Relationship-Builder
- Self-Directed and Performance-Driven
- Solid Technology skills in terms of Microsoft Office products
- Currently residing in Eastern Hall County, Merrick County or Hamilton County with established Ag grower contacts a MUST

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Seed Sales Manager for an independently-owned and managed Seed company located in Central Nebraska. The ideal individual will be an Ag Sales Professional with Ag grower contacts in the Eastern half of Hall County, in Merrick County, or in Hamilton County.
Primary role will involve:
- Marketing hybrids and varieties locally selected for Central Nebraska
- Providing agronomy knowledge / understanding to your Ag grower customers
- Delivering top quality seed backed by extensive research and testing
- Helping your Ag growers protect their investment with high-end performing seed treatments
- Assisting your Ag growers in driving higher yields
