- BSc. Agronomy, Horticulture or other Ag-Related degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience selling products into the Horticultural/Greenhouse industry
- Experience managing a distributor network and client relationships a PLUS
- Experience representing a plant nutrition or fertilizer product line a PLUS
- Ability to provide Technical Agronomic information and support as well as selling product line
- Solid experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with solid social media experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Ability to attend Trade Shows


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced territory sales individual with recent experience marketing technical agronomic products through a dealer/distributor network. Primary responsibility will be to call on a diverse group of dealer/distributors marketing to Greenhouses and Large Growers to promote, sell and provide technical expertise for a line of Water-Soluble Plant Nutrition products. This Sales Representative will provide product marketability and profitability by researching and developing marketing opportunities for the domestic U.S., then will meet and/or exceed projected sales objectives. Other duties to include:

- Managing sales budgets by monitoring regular reporting
- Regular follow-through with customer base
- Collecting, analyzing and summarizing research data and trends to provide up-to-the-date information and service to customer base
- Maintaining established business relationships while also growing customer base
- Identifying marketshare opportunities
- Attending industry trade shows
- Working to improve product line including product packaging and product development
- Participating in educational opportunities and professional relationships to stay ahead of the current marketplace
- Providing technical service such as developing fertilizer schedules for individual customers and developing innovative ways for growers to effectively utilize product line to their benefit
- Developing new formulations based on requests of customer base
- Presenting programs to introduce customers to newest marketing/advertising programs and to collect and analyze data as well as resolve issues for customers
- Updating plant nutrition guide on a regular basis

EMPLOYER IS LOOKING TO HIRE IMMEDIATELY. This individual will work from a home-based office, ideally located in the Northeastern U.S., however, employer is flexible on location. Vehicle allowance will be provided along with a full menu of work/life benefits.
