Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is partnering with a progressive, high-performing custom cattle finishing operation in the heart of cattle country to find a Cattle Care Feedlot Assistant ready to make an impact. With cattle marketed on grids and weekly cash showlists, this operation is focused on performance, animal welfare, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitor daily cattle health and behavior to ensure top performance
• Identify, pull, and treat sick or injured cattle with attention to detail
• Oversee and manage hospital pens to maintain recovery and care standards
• Assist with processing, receiving, and shipping cattle
• Jump in where needed—supporting all aspects of feedyard operations
• Work alongside a team that values efficiency, communication, and accountability

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cattle or feedyard experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong work ethic and reliability—you show up ready to work
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and a genuine interest in animal health and care
