JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Established Agronomy Services Employer seeking an individual to train into their Agronomy Operations division. Ideal candidate will have an On-Farm /Ag background, will have operated farm equipment, will have helped with farm equipment maintenance and will have the desire to learn how to efficiently apply Ag chemicals and fertilizer to area crops. Employer will assist this individual in obtaining his / her State of Illinois Applicator license. Must be able to take direction well and like to work independently. There will be opportunities, also, to drive truck for this Employer. As a result, Employer will assist individual in securing his / her CDL.

This is a family-run operation with a brand new RoGator Sprayer/Spreader combo as well as other John Deere Spray equipment. Average weekly work hours = 45 hours per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a reliable truck driver for a farm/trucking operation in western Nebraska. Need someone who is a team player and a hard worker, safe driver, and passion to succeed. Majority of time would be someone that wants to run a repeating scheduled run to Texas and back. Need someone who takes pride in what they do, prefer someone to keep a neat and tidy truck. Prefer at least 3+ years of stable experience with driving over the road experience, but someone who would like to be home on a schedule or regular basis. A candidate that possesses overall row crop skills such as operating a grain cart, semi, loader, and other equipment operating skills is a plus and available if a person wants to do more than just drive a truck. Farm in a given year will raise a variety of crops from Corn, Soybeans, and wheat in most years. If interested in trucking only, one could live most anywhere along 1000-mile route. Two loads per week, average around 4000 miles paid either by the mile or percentage of load. Any additional farming if one chooses would be paid by the hour. E.O.E. and wages/commissions are dependent on not only experience and skill set but also stability and references.

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is partnering with a Progressive Crop Inputs Manufacturer to find an experienced Key Account Lead to cover the Western Region U.S. This is a Senior-Level Technical Agronomist role for a self-directed and performance-driven individual residing within the Western U.S. with solid Ag distributors and Ag grower relationships in place. This role will involve occasional travel calling on key accounts outside of the region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop strategic business plans with key accounts annually

- Create/Implement successful sales forecasts

- Negotiate, then attain/surpass sales targets

- Provide product support and launch new products

- Create a footprint of your organization and their product line within the region

THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO:

- Work closely with Ag growers, distributors and corporate executives in your network channel.

- Make a substantial impact on the crop inputs marketspace in the Western Region

- Solid understanding of Ag grower crop protection needs

- Established book of business in the following crops: Trees, Nuts, Almonds, Citrus, Vines, Grapes and Berries

- Polished communication, interpersonal and computer technology skills

- Proven relationship builder/maintainer skill set

- Demonstrated ability to create a sales strategy leading to market growth and new market development

- Performance-driven personality focused on meeting/surpassing goals and deadlines

- Ability to travel to 60%
