Candidate Description:
This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate grew up breeding and raising show pigs. He continues to work for my step dad in the fall for harvest, but grew up on his farm raising confinement hogs in buildings that held up to 2,000 hogs and worked ground on 3,500 acres of row crops. While working on both farms, he understands and practices biosecurity techniques. On both farms, he gained first-hand knowledge of different growth rates for different breeds of hogs as well as feed mixes for most efficient rates of gain. He helped in picking the sire (semen) and dam for their show pig operation. Most recently he has been working as a bank examiner where he assesses financial institution’s overall condition, risk management systems, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Prior to this, he worked for John Deere Financial and John Deere & Company where he worked in customer service roles and inventory inspections in which he excelled, due to his Ag background he knew how to communicate with farmers and Ag dealerships. As far as his educational background goes, he started college with an emphasis in Animal Science, but changed directions and earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, which has enabled him to develop strong interpersonal skills and be a team player. He can handle risks and work in any work environment and keep himself abreast of the latest skills that will benefit the organization where he works. This candidate has a lot to offer an employer and is ready to be an asset to your organization.
