This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is a 4th generation rancher. Ranching and agriculture management is his passion and he has been fortunate to know and work for many wonderful people over the years that share this bond. He enjoys utilizing the knowledge and skills he has acquired over a lifetime of managing ranches in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. He has worked on cattle ranches, feedlots and yearling operations ranging in size from 2500 to currently 61,000 acres owned and leased. He has been the only employee up to 5 additional employees. He is able to supervise and delegate as well as work with his coworkers. He has been involved with organizations that have introduced him to progressive agriculture practices. He has found it beneficial to collaborate with a group of like-minded individuals who share a goal to improve the land, natural resources and riparian areas alongside cattle and other ranch operations. He strives to develop and implement plans for the ranches and properties he manages that promote efficiency gains, successful agricultural operations and environmental stewardship. With the highest integrity he takes great pride in promoting and managing a property. His family enjoys the lifestyle ranching offers and they strive to be in an atmosphere that allows their boys to excel in a supportive and accountable environment. Family involvement in committees and organizations state-wide, that are important in helping rural communities thrive, has tied them to stewardship of Montana ranching. Over the past thirteen years, he has demonstrated his ability to manage in different native environments and locations in two different Montana Counties. He is seeking a Ranch Management position.
