This Hansen Agri-Placement candidate was raised on a farm/ranch raising wheat, corn, and registered and commercial Angus cattle. She has been involved in the family operation from a young age and this has given her a great knowledge base in genetics, artificial insemination, range management, and cow/calf care. She has received a Bachelor of Science in Animal science and a Master of Science in Animal Science, Ruminant Nutrition. She has eight years of consultative sales experience in her current role. This has involved making farm calls on current and prospective customers, taking and reviewing feed samples, and making rations for all life stages of beef cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and swine. She also worked with producers from a nutrition and financial perspective to make their operations more profitable. She was involved in formulating a co-product mineral for the co-op and responsible for making the feed tags for their manufactured products and custom rations, when necessary. When the new veterinary feed directive regulations took effect, she became responsible for approving and calculating dosage on VFD’s for the co-op locations in her territory. She is familiar with statistical analyses. She is comfortable interpreting data and bringing technical knowledge to the producers. She is looking for new opportunities at this time due to recent management changes.
