Candidate Description:
This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has been involved in agriculture for many years now. The last eleven years he’s been operating application equipment. Handling general plant/equipment maintenance, and load/mix fertilizer and chemicals used for agriculture use. Field scouting and soil sampling, etc. The position he held previously to that he had for over 8 years in which he operated application equipment such as Terragator and Rogator. Also, some field scouting and soil sampling here too along with general plant maintenance, etc. The position he had before that he was a Farm Manager where he was over all day to day operations of a 7,500-acre corn and soybean farm. Including tillage, planting, spraying, scouting and harvest, along with managing full and part time employees. He would also oversee the delivery of grain from farm to elevator. He would also oversee the planting and harvest of 2,000 acres of (Pioneer) seed corn. Including delivering of the seed corn. Oversee all irrigation both pivot and pumps used for the irrigation. He loves the farm life and he's ready to make a move back to full-time crop production when the right progressive farm position comes along.
