This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has 20+ years of farming and commercial Horticultural production experience including fruit, vegetable and nursery trees, 10+ years of accounting/business management experience and 15 years of pastoral ministry. Hired initially by his current employer as Office Manager/Financial Controller, in charge of all accounting functions, AP, AR, payroll and HR manager and excelled in role, leading to excellent financial records and company cost savings. After 2.5 years was asked by owner to transition to Field Operations Manager due to extensive previous Horticultural production experience, and business/management experience to replace previous field manager who was retiring. He currently manages 700+ acres of nursery tree field production, including overseeing 20 employees over 5 crews, all elements of planting, harvesting, growing, trimming and pruning, including disease and pest management, as well as continuing to supervise elements of accounting and payroll. He is highly motivated, detail oriented, relationship focused with a type-A personality and excellent communication skills. Holds a CDL class B driver's license with air brakes, passenger, and school bus endorsements and private pesticide applicator license. High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
