- Agronomy Operations experience
- Leadership / Supervisory experience

JOB DESCRIPTION
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Established Ag Retailer seeking an experienced Agronomy Operations Manager for one of their Nebraska locations. Primary responsibility will be day-to-day operations management of an Agronomy center. Additionally, assistance with crop inputs and service sales to Ag customers will be required. This Manager will:

- Coordinate services and agronomy operational needs for sales
- Coordinate/Schedule custom applicators and tanks on the spraying, spreading and deliver of bulk fertilizer
- Develop/Recommend specialized Agronomy programs for Ag customers utilizing Precision Ag technology, Seed services, Financial services and other marketing tools
- Partner with and complement functional roles of team members to improve efficiency and profitability of location
- Develop/Instill a deep knowledge and understanding of company brands
- Deliver timely and accurate communication to targeted Ag customers to drive value-added sales
- Provide current and accurate communication to upper management regarding sales reports, Ag customer issues/complaints, demand forecasts and competitive pricing requests
- Assist Ag customers with developing whole farming operation plans, forecasting crop inputs, price negotiations, technical coordination, contract preparation/closures/collections and complaint resolution
- Provide weekly inventory reports
- Complete company-required training and participate in mentoring programs
- Schedule, assign and direct work
- Complete personnel performance reviews, personnel rewards, personnel discipline, address personnel complaints and resolve personnel issues in connection with upper management
- Support company R&D program
