- Bachelor's Degree in agriculture related field
- Minimum 5 years experience with direct sales of durable goods
- Experience selling animal confinement/greenhouse equipment
- Highly developed sales skills and personal attributes
- Strong mechanical/technical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop/maintain business relationships
- Self motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to travel 50-75%
- Complete fluency in the English and Spanish languages required. Portuguese fluency is a plus
Job Description: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Manufacturer with their search for a Business Development Executive. This role will report to the Global Vice-President of Sales and be responsible for achieving the sales goals in poultry/swine equipment sales.
Responsibilities:
- Become expert on the company's products
- Develop and execute sales plans
- Add new and profitable customers and grow sales to existing customers
- Develop partnership for key distributors
- Grow sales in territory
- Asist company's marketing and Engineering teams in product related initiatives, such as modification, adaptations, and local certification requirements
- Conduct training and sales presentation
- Develop and manage relationships with distributors, integrator, and end users
