- Prefer good feedlot background
- Good animal health skills, pen riding experience a plus
- Operating feed-truck, loader, hauling manure, etc.
- Handle routine maintenance and general repairs
- Good decision maker
- Also prefer some crop production experience or willingness to learn crops as long as they are strong in cattle feeding


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Cattle/Crops Assistant for a feedlot operation in southwest Nebraska. Main focus of the position will be working with cattle in the feedlot, but person will also assist in equipment operations; running feed-wagon, manure hauling and silage packing, etc. Prefer good feedlot experience; feeding, processing, riding pens and pulling sick cattle, sorting cattle, vaccinating and yard maintenance. Person needs to be dependable, have good decision-making skills, be a self-starter and willing to assist in all areas of the operation. Having a good attitude, who's flexible in their duties and who's hard working will go a long way in being considered. Any crop production experience a plus. Prefer this person have a willingness to assist with crops in busy season. Nice rural location offering a family friendly environment and just over 3 hours from Denver. Front Range and Mountain Activities are close enough for a short or long weekend.
