Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy operation located in New Mexico who is searching for a Dairy Barn Manager for their facility. The Dairy Barn Manager is responsible maintaining and improving the overall productivity and performance of this dairy farm and the milking barn. The barn manager’s role will be to ensure cows are being taken care of during the milking process. This Dairy’s goal is that each and every cow on this farm is milked properly, completely, and in a minimal stress environment. An effective Barn Manager will achieve this goal by leading, teaching, inspecting, and inspiring a complete milking crew in carrying out proper milking procedures.

The Dairy Barn Manager's duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to providing leadership for the milking shifts, the recruiting and training of new employees, implementing and changes to protocols and procedure and ensuring they are followed by all employees, and keeping performance records as requested. Will oversee sanitation, keep milking barns neat and orderly, perform barn and parlor maintenance and other duties as needed.
