QUALIFICATION:
- Good farm equipment operating skills with 2-5+ years of solid verifiable experience operating large equipment - Sprayer experience along with current pesticide applicators license, a strong plus - Efficient with routine maintenance and general repairs - Knowledge/education of crop scouting/precision Ag/variable rate application all a bonus - Need to have good record keeping skills and be a team player with a passion for farming - Must be able to work independently as well as a team while being trustworthy and responsible - Must have good aptitude and attitude - Heavy equipment experience a plus (Trackhoe, Loader, & Dozer) - Clean DMV record is a must - Semi driving experience and/or CDL is a bonus
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm Equipment Operator for a Indiana family farm. Individual needs to know machinery operations and maintenance. The farm consists of, 5500+ acres of irrigated and dryland corn and soybeans. Employer also has 500 acres of watermelons. Employer would like to find someone with strong spray experience along with precision Ag experience and variable rate would be a plus. The employer is flexible regarding the candidate's skills and experience, as the size and scope of their operation allows them to utilize a solid employee in a variety of ways.
