- BS or advanced degree in horticulture, organic agriculture, or equivalent is preferred
- Must have Harvest experience with multiple crops, all types of common vegetables, & timing of harvest is essential. Any CSA experience would be a a big plus
- Must have experience with multiple lines of equipment, maintenance, adjustments, and care for harvesting 150+ varieties of produce/vegetables
- Organic farm experience is highly preferred
- Previous management and supervisory experience is required
- Seeking to expand operations
- Self-motivated with good communication skills with staff and ownership
- Must be highly organized with attention to detail
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm Harvest Manager for this eastern seaboard organic farming operation. Function will be to maximize the quality and diversified output of the organic farm, supervision of the staff, ongoing communication with the owner, farm manager, affiliated companies and the community. Primary duties will include responsibility for the harvesting on weekly basis, processes, and all aspect of compliance with USDA organic mandates. Majority of the work will be harvesting produce in a timely, sustainable, progressive, and certified organic fashion. Individual will also need outstanding written and oral communication skills required to convey information, gather and disseminate information, and problem solve. Pay will be determined by experience. Individuals currently in management or supervisory capacity on an organic operation are encouraged to apply as you consider your next career step. Company will consider traditional crop production farm manager who doesn't have an organic background but has an interest in organic farming. The manager will be responsible for running daily harvest operations and create weekly estimates of harvest based on field supply. Will need to coordinate use of farm crew with the Field Production Manager as well. In the spring you will assist Field Production Manager is timely planting, weeding, and managing the crew. E.O.E.
