Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy located in Virginia who is searching for a well qualified Herdsman that will assist in the operation of their 24 hour operation with minimal downtime (45 minutes at any given time). Successful candidate must have large dairy experience (1000+), strong herd health and AI breeding experience, and a strong work ethic. This position will be overseeing milkers and pusher to ensure protocols are be followed. Other responsibilities include parlor maintenance, manage fresh cows, keeping water troughs clean, etc. Employer is looking for someone with computer experience with dairy software, some mechanical ability, and the ability to speak Dairy Spanish would be a plus. There is no feeding with this position but must communicate with Feeder and Nutritionist.
