- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, and Organizational Development---Master’s degree is preferred
- Prefer at least 7 years of progressively increasing leadership responsibilities in Human Resources
- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations is preferred
- Appreciation for agriculture industry and comfortable in a rural community
- Adaptability in an ever-changing work environment
- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and deliver a satisfactory product on time
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Willing to travel as needed between headquarters in Montana to two other company location states


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Human Resource Manager for large multi-state agricultural operation. Working under the direction of the General Manager, this individual will be responsible for all Human Resources functions including recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, training, safety, succession planning, etc. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (preferred) or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as five to seven years’ experience in an agricultural setting is required. Prefer this person will have ties to the West and be capable of selling the mountain west and its geographic location to prospective ranch candidates. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for guiding and managing the implementation of all HR services, policies, and programs. The HR Manager originates, leads, and manages practices to enhance an employee-oriented, high-performing culture. This position requires excellent communication skills, coaching ability, computer proficiency, and competency with a variety of software systems. The HR Leader must be prepared to implement programs, lead the company’s HR team, and assist company leadership with all relevant HR issues.
