- High School diploma or GED required; technical degree in Automotive, Agricultural, Diesel or Construction Mechanics is preferred
- 5 or more years in a Farm or Ag Equipment dealership environment
- Service or Quality Assurance experience preferred
- Strong Leadership skill set
- Proven knowledge/experience with methods, materials and costs used in the repair/maintenance of large Ag and/or Construction equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Technology-driven
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is currently seeking an Inspections Manager working with large Farm and Ag equipment nationwide to provide high-level technical knowledge so that on-site inspections can be performed. Ideal candidates will have solid knowledge of large Ag equipment such as combines, tractors and skid steers, including servicing and repair of this equipment; will have the ability to evaluate the electrical, hydraulic and mechanical components of the equipment; will have the ability to cost out repairs; will be technology-driven; and, will be highly organized.

Primary responsibilities of this individual will be to:
- Schedule inspections via computer sessions with on-site equipment personnel
- Train on-site technicians in performing Ag equipment inspections so as to report the condition of major components and systems
- Guide on-site technicians with the measuring of undercarriages per guidelines and evaluating tires, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical components
- Analyze and critique the inspection process and inspection evaluation forms, and if necessary, retrain service personnel with specifics of the inspection, including the downloading of relevant pictures of equipment
- Communicate effectively via e-mail and phone with on-site equipment personnel regarding schedule and other details of the inspection process
- Actively support employer commitment to safety processes
- Assemble a procedural manual for standard policies and procedures for Ag equipment inspections as well as safety training
- Work collaboratively with other team members and on-site inspection personnel
- Train others into Ag equipment inspection roles

Ideal candidate may be an individual who has worked in the Service Bay of an Ag Equipment Dealership and who has also sold Ag Equipment. This individual must know large Farm or Ag equipment forwards and backwards.
