- BSc. Agronomy, Engineering, Chemistry or other Ag-related degree PLUS at least 5 years Fertilizer Plant Management experience OR equivalent of education and experience
- Experience working with dry and liquid fertilizer inventory including product care and regulatory compliance
- Experience with Ranco Fertiservice equipment beneficial but not required
- Proven Supervisory/Leadership experience including P&L responsibility
- Strong Organizational and Communication skills
- Ability to hire, fire, train, set schedules and delegate work assignments to personnel
- Experience with Capital Improvements or Project Management beneficial but not required
- Customer Service focused


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for an established Southeastern U.S. Ag fertilizer manufacturer. Primary responsibility will be to manage fertilizer operations to meet the needs of the customer and to focus on improving performance of the plant.

This individual will hold responsibility for the finances and profitability as well as productivity, safety, health and environmental performance measures, customer service and human resources.

This individual will ensure there are sufficient fertilizer resources available to sustain plant operations and meet the needs of the customer.

Duties to include:
- Operation of facility in a cost-effective manner in accordance with projected sales and operating budget
- Regulatory compliance
- Developing/implementing operational policies and procedures supporting on-going business practices
- Continuous improvement for plant performance, reliability and operating costs
- Maintaining safety, process and risk management programs for plant
- Utilizing fertilizer management knowledge to maintain product within the specified product and cost guidelines
- Recruiting, retaining sufficient personnel to run the operation
- Building and maintaining strong customer, industry and community relationships
- Providing support to team members within organization
