- BSc. Agronomy or other Ag-related degree OR 6 years experience in an Agronomy-related field
- Certified Crop Advisor license or ability to obtain with first year of employment
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing sound Agronomic recommendations to Ag growers
- Solid knowledge of OR hands-on experience with precision Ag technology
- Ability to review technical agronomy information and convert to viable Ag grower solutions
- Strong communication skills including solid problem-solving ability
- Excellent at "front end selling"
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong Ag grower relationships
- Self-directed, independent and entrepreneurial in nature


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Precision Agronomist currently located in Iowa who would enjoy bringing a consultative, Agronomic/precision Ag service to area Ag growers. Employer to provide state-of-the-art digital Agronomic tools to assist Precision Agronomist in focusing on solutions for Ag growers by assisting them in producing high-yielding, high-quality crops by optimizing crop inputs and minimizing impact on environment.

Ideal individual will have:
- Solid Agronomy sales background and experience
- Good knowledge and/or experience with precision Ag technology
- Established Ag grower contacts in their area

This Precision Agronomist will work closely with Ag grower customers assisting them through a whole customer Ag grower cycle including:
- Crop scouting with Ag grower
- Collecting data from Ag grower
- Identifying acres requiring improvement
- Developing crop plans, rotations, making crop input recommendations as well as product positioning
- Delivery of all portfolio prescriptions
- Managing/Aiding with summer interns training
- Planning/Managing soil sample team
- Working with Ag grower customers through harvest and beyond tracking results

Qualified candidates must have dedication to a true systems approach to Agronomy that offers grower-specific management products that extend soil fertility, crop care (herbicide, fungicide, others), plant growth and development as well as current production practices to data management and analytics.
