- 4-year Technical Engineering degree
- 2 or more years proven hands-on repair of vehicles, farm machinery equipment or related industrial equipment
- Solid knowledge of Ag dealership operations beneficial
- Ability to read/understand blueprints, technical manuals and parts manual very beneficial
- Strong communication skills including written, presentation and verbal, with ability to comfortably and effectively converse with equipment dealers and customers
- Ability to develop written reports providing instructions and guidance to corporate and dealer service support personnel
- Proven experience resolving technical problems, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic, on tractors, utility vehicles and/or implements
- Ability to remain tactful and diplomatic in challenging and argumentative situations
- Advanced level of computer knowledge dealing with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to manage/complete work assignments in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 100 pounds
- Valid drivers license, clean driving record with ability to travel up to 25% of time independently


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Equipment Manufacturer seeking a Utility Task Vehicle Service Engineer. This position provides technical and engineering support to field service personnel, equipment dealers, technical assistance hotline and manufacturing team and will report directly to the Service Engineering Manager. Primary responsibilities will be to manage and conduct independent research and data analysis, field failures, test components, systems and entire units; communicate with suppliers and other inside/outside resources to achieve quickest possible problem resolution, then communicate and provide technical updates to technical on-site staff and throughout dealer network. Other duties, as assigned, may include:
- Researching/Analyzing technical, operational and other product issues to verify issue, find root cause and to provide prompt and effective issue resolution to all parties involved
- Authoring/Publishing technical repair bulletins
- Assisting with dealer development training with regard to troubleshooting, diagnostics and unusual repair procedures
