- Need a passion for agriculture, ranching, as well as farming
- Someone trustworthy, honorable, and reliable to run day to day ranch operation for absentee owner
- College Degree is a plus, but not required. School of hard knocks is fine too, with 10+ years of experience with cows
- 3+ years of leadership experience is preferred
- Strong cattle skills are needed for calving, animal health to diagnosing and treating as needed. BQA Training is a plus
- Experience operating equipment for feeding, routine equipment repairs and maintenance skills
- Responsible for specific tasks


Hansen Agri-Placement is searching for a Working Ranch Manager for an operation located in east central Oklahoma. The main focus is with the ranch operation and working with the cattle, but person also needs to know how to operate equipment for winter feeding. Looking for a person with a passion for agriculture. Need to be a team player, have good communications skills, and able to assist in all areas of the operation when needed. Need person who is a self-starter, capable of thinking on their own and able to see the big picture. Really prefer good maintenance and general repair skills. The hay production is outsourced, so person won't have to put up hay. Ranch typically maintain about 350 mother cows and run their calves on pasture.
